Two truths: February went by in a blink of an eye. And we all love Target.

Well, here in Southern Maryland, our closest Target is a 40 min drive each direction - so it’s safe to say that online shopping is my best friend because nobody has time for that!
This weekend as everyone was shopping the holiday sales, I found myself looking for a few small, affordable, purchases that would help me usher in this warmer weather for my own kitchen - so I thought I would share them with you as well!
After all, as the weather warms up, and the season changes - so should your home! Here a few easy (and affordable) items to throw in your shopping cart to pull your kitchen out of dreary winter blues!
Trade out the faux green stems in your kitchen vase for colorful faux Sedum Plant Stems, or THESE faux yellow wildflowers!
Make your seasonal switch on the kitchen hand towels! THESE lemon ones from Target brighten up any kitchen space, or these striped ones if you prefer a more neutral look!
Consider the scent - yes! Smell matters. Choose a hand soap that reminds you of warmer days - I have been loving this soap scent - and you can’t beat the price! $3.49 for 50 fl oz - yes please!
Forget the expensive wallflowers from Bath and Body Works - these Febreze Fade Defy Plug Air Fresheners are cheaper, higher rated, and their oil promises to last 50 days! I love this linen and sky scent - the perfect combo to make your kitchen smell cleaner (than it is - but shh, I won’t tell!)
Now for the aesthetically fun part - seasonal dishes! These bowls, and these plates, are the cutest combo together if you want a fun pop of color/design! If you like to play it safe - try these neutral scalloped plates and opt for some classic floral mini bowls that you can use year-round!
To complete the curated Spring dining look - pair them with either these reusable cotton napkins, or one of these two disposable napkins sets (GINGHAM or STAMPED) for $3 depending on your color scheme…and of course, include PLACEMATS! My top three fave spring picks are this jute oval placemat for $4, this cotton blue gingham placemat, or this cotton yellow version!
